Mott The Hoople Collection
One of David Bowie’s favourite bands and synonymous with the early 70’s, for most of us Mott the Hoople will bring to mind their most well-known song, All The Young Dudes – which of course was written by Bowie for the band.
A unique private collection belonging to Mott the Hoople drummer the late Dale Griffin, also known as Buffin, will be offered for sale at Harper Field Auctioneers & Valuers at their October auction. The collection includes records, tapes, CDs and memorabilia from Griffin’s time with The Soulents through Mott the Hoople and British Lion to his time as a producer, both of music and at the BBC.
All the items have been consigned for auction by Dale’s partner.
