Auctioneer and silver specialist
Mark Rozelaar’s interest in antiques began whilst still at school when he began attending local auctions, and buying all manner of items to fill his parents’ house. He then did work experience at two different auctions and progressed on to do a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Valuation at Southampton Solent University, after which he began working full time at a local auction before joining us around 10 years ago.
His interest in silver began back in his school days, and he still enjoys finding an unusual or particularly well-made item. Mark is also very interested in vintage cars, trains, motorcycles and planes and luckily he gets to work with them too, through dealing with the transport section, along with handling the scientific instruments and weights and scales sections of the sale.
