Rifles have been around for hundreds of years with one of the first adaptations of the riffled muzzleloaders being the Kentucky rifle invented in Germany in the early 1700’s and have a long and detailed history to suit. More recently they usually fall into one of two categories. Target rifles used by dedicated enthusiasts shooting in competitions the like of which is seen in the Olympic Games or hunting rifles used for shooting anything from small pests such as rabbits and foxes up to larger animas such as wild bore and deer whereby larger calibres are used.
Bidders from around the world bid against each other in order to secure their next competition or hunting rifle or to own as a collectors piece. As registered firearms dealers (RFD’s) Harper field can handle any type of rifle and frequently deal with large collections as well and shop dispersal clearances.
